Sextant & Derain

Born at the Hospices de Beaune, we can say that Dominique Derain has been one of the mythical figures of natural wines in Burgundy for over 20 years.
In Saint-Aubin, close to the great appellations of the region, Dominique applies the great principles of biodynamic viticulture to the vines, which allows him to obtain grapes of great aromatic power.
Although Dominique still has one foot on the estate, since 2016 it has been run by Julien Altaber, his long-time assistant.
At the same time, with Carole, they have launched a trading activity of organic grapes vinified under the entity Sextant.
