Patrick et Mireille Meyer
Alsace
Among the pioneers since they have been established for more than 30 years, Patrick Meyer and his wife Mireille have worked to give a place to natural wine in Alsace. It is in Nothalten, halfway between Strasbourg and Colmar, that we find their 8 hectares of vines worked in organic agriculture, then in biodynamic. They have progressively reduced the amount of sulfur used, until they have completely eliminated it.
Free wines, made from grapes grown on exceptional terroirs, such as the Grand Cru Muenchberg or the magnificent limestone plot of Zellberg. The maturation is always slow, with a deliberate search for oxygenation for wines of remarkable complexity and amplitude.
