Alexandre et Amélie Desanges-Guilin


    Alexandre and Amélie are both from Auvergne. They met during their sommelier studies and for several years ran a wine bar in Clermont-Ferrand.

    Then they chose the town of Vensat to get to the heart of the matter and start their winegrower activity. IThey took over a family building and set up their cellar there.For their farm, they promote mixed farming and, in the middle of their vines, chickens, donkeys, sheep, pigs roam… A real little paradise.

    2018, first vintage!

    We find a lot of creativity and freedom in their winemaking. Alexandre and Amélie are uncompromising nature. And in their wines, there is this unique vibration so characteristic of volcanic terroirs.

    They are truly passionate, and moreover, recently, Alexandre has been passing on his knowledge and giving sommelier courses in the hotel school where their story began.
