Jean-Marc Dreyer

Jean-Marc Dreyer

Alsace

    One of our favorite winemakers!

In 2003, it is in Rosheim, 25 kilometers from Strasbourg, that Jean-Marc took over the family estate, which dates back to 1830, and converted it to biodynamic farming.

Trained by Patrick Meyer, with whom he learned to vinify as naturally as possible, he has now become one of the emblematic winemakers of the Alsatian natural movement.

In 2009, in search of spirituality, Jean-Marc took the road to Compostela and returned with the conviction of never using sulfur in his wines.

His whites are vinified in maceration, a traditional method in Alsace, which magnifies the local grape varieties. We find a lot of delicacy and frankness in his wines.
