Daniel Millet

Daniel Millet

Beaujolais

Daniel Millet, an extremely confidential winemaker, very few of whom know the name and the cuvées.

Atypical fact: for him, making wine is above all a hobby because it has as a main job that of gardener.

He is the brother-in-law of Jérôme Guichard, from the Sauveterre estate, with whom he has, among other things, made a 4-hand cuvée: Arrêts Fréquents.

And with him, he is also part of Philippe Jambon's click. A happy trio located straddling Beaujolais, where they have their vines, and Burgundy, where they have their cellars.

In his wines, he voluntarily searches for oxidation and he favors long farms, unlike the current trend where carbonic maceration to drink young are rather frequent.

Daniel Millet, in summary, they are rare, typical wines, with great depth.
